We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Lead Data Scientist to steer our advanced data science initiatives, particularly in the healthcare sector. This role demands not only a deep understanding of data science principles but also a proven track record in deploying Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in a production environment.
Role Overview
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will guide cross-functional teams in analyzing complex datasets to derive actionable insights, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning methodologies. This position is pivotal for translating intricate data science projects into tangible business and clinical outcomes, and it requires hands-on experience with sophisticated AI solutions in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models, with a focus on Generative AI and LLMs, ensuring their integration into production systems.
Oversee the entire data science project lifecycle, from model conception to deployment and continuous monitoring.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data scientists, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data science projects with business objectives and healthcare regulations.
Evaluate and refine existing models to enhance their predictive accuracy and applicability to healthcare datasets.
Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of seven years of experience in data science, with a significant focus on healthcare data.
Proven experience in deploying Generative AI/LLM solutions in a production environment.
Strong foundation in machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $143,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD
TRAVEL - Up to 20% of the time- BUSINESS MEETINGS
